Bacillus Lentimorbus

This is the Image of a bacillus bacteria.

Notice the capsule, which most bacteria dont have. The Capsule is what makes the Bacillus bacteria so deadly. The capsule allows it to live with out nutrients for extended periods of time, therefore, making sure that it will be able to find a suitable place to infect evetually. But is this capsule solely the machinery of infection? Or is there a deeper purpose behind it?

Bacillus Lentimorbus Is a type pf bacteria that is in the Bacillus famliy of Bacteria. It is an insect pathogen, which means it soley infects inscects. These insects that it infects are beneficial to  plant growth, so indirectly, this bacteria is responsible for many famines. Ironically, the plant is also a soil inoculator. This means that it procuces nutrients that go into the soil and are beneficial to plant growth.
